UNIVERSITY PARK, TEXAS — Michael Douglas (Doug) Horn, president of A.C. Horn & Co., died on July 5 following a fall from his bicycle on the campus of Southern Methodist University. He was 65 years old.

Founded in 1907 by Albert C. Horn Sr., A.C. Horn & Co. specializes in food processing equipment, manufacturing Cantrell, Bauer and Manley equipment. Doug Horn took over as president in 1997.

For more than 27 years, A.C. Horn & Co. has been an active member of the Snack Food Association, actively attending and exhibiting at SNAXPO. Mr. Horn was instrumental in coordinating and leading the worship service at SNAXPO each year and was a member of the Associate Executive Council.

Survivors include his wife, Priscilla; son, Michael Horn Jr. (Nicole) of Grapevine, Texas; two daughters, Suzanne Deriso (Richard) of Atlanta, and Leslie, Brooklyn, N.Y.; and four grandchildren.
