OVERLAND PARK, KAS. — BEMA elected new members to both its executive committee and board of directors at its 2017 convention.

Don Osborne, team leader, Intralox, was elected chairman of the board of directors. Mr. Osborne joined Intralox 15 years ago and spent the last six years overseas managing food-related territories in China, Japan and Korea.

“The industry has provided so much for me and my family that it is an honor to give back some of my time, talents and resources,” Mr. Osborne said.

For its 100th anniversary year, BEMA’s tradition of giving back throughout its history and its investments in the future will be prominent in the planned celebrations. In fact, BEMA leadership has adopted the theme of “giving back” as its focus for the year.

In addition to Mr. Osborne, BEMA also elected Paul Lattan of Sosland Publishing as first vice-chairman, Mark Hotze of Corbion as second vice-chairman, Rick Hoskins of Colborne Foodbiotics as third vice-chairman and Allen Wright of Hansaloy as immediate past chairman.
