KANSAS CITY — Brad Burris and Mike Monea have been named managing partners at D. Thomas + Associates, a provider of packaging solutions for the food industry. Mr. Burris and Mr. Monea have been longtime partners in the business, and in their new roles they will increase their focus on developing short- and long-term business strategies, managing employees and nurturing relationships.

“As we looked to the future of our company and to saying ‘yes’ to more and more time with our families, we identified Brad and Mike as ideal candidates to assume management responsibilities for D. Thomas,” said Daniel Thomas Hogerty II and James R. Lynch, founders of the company.

“Brad’s a true entrepreneur and leader, having led and owned businesses before joining us as a partner in 1986,” Mr. Hogerty said. “He’s been a vital member of our company and leadership team since day one. His deep commitment to our customers and manufacturing partners paired with his business acumen, level-headedness, strong faith and leadership skills made him a great fit for the role.”
