BENSALEM, PA. — Bake Rite Rolls, a commercial bakery that specializes in soft sandwich rolls and English muffins, is expanding its facility in Bensalem. A M King Construction has been hired to handle the expansion, which is expected to be completed in late December.

Bake Rite Rolls, which is part of Northeast Foods, said the expansion will include the addition of 13,500 square feet of production space, 12 loading dock positions, lighting with a day light harvesting system and ventilation fans.

Much of the expanded area is expected to be used to produce products for McDonald’s restaurants.

“A M King has worked with Bake Rite Rolls, Northeast Foods and other McDonald’s suppliers for years,” said Stuart Jernigan, preconstruction manager for A M King. “We understand the supply chain’s exacting quality control measures, and we make upholding those a priority, both in planning a project and the execution of it.”
