NORTHBROOK, ILL. – UL has acquired Innovadex, Overland Park, Kas., an Internet-based search and information exchange platform, that connects the suppliers of food and beverage ingredients and raw materials with buyers. UL said the acquisition expands its offerings into several new product categories, including the food and beverage segment.

“Innovadex advances UL’s goal of helping engineers save valuable development time and make healthier and safer products by empowering them with faster, more substantive information, deeper levels of details and access to more alternatives,” said Sara Greenstein, president of UL Environment.
