GENEVA, ILL. — Roquette America, Inc. will promote two innovative ingredients at I.F.T. 2013 in Chicago — a high-lipid and a high-protein microalgae-based ingredient. Both are natural-origin, whole ingredients that may improve nutrition and texture in a variety of applications. The lipid version is ideal for bakery and culinary applications, and the protein version is suited for dietary supplements and particular nutrition.

The company is a leader in microalgae-based food ingredients, and serves as the program leader of ALGOHUB, a 14-member French consortium focused on research and development of microalgae in the nutrition and health sector.
