New flavor acts as sweetness enhancer

BELLINGHAM, WASH. — Sweet Green Fields, L.L.C. has introduced Natrose natural flavor, which has been shown to work synergistically with sugar, stevia extracts and monk fruit. The ingredient has been shown to reduce overall sweetening costs while still reducing calories.

Natrose may work in many food and beverage applications, including baked foods, beverages and dairy items. It is soluble and may work in syrups and flavor concentrates.
