Non-G.M.O. version of Nadanut enters market

ATCHISON, KAS. — Inclusion Technologies L.L.C. has introduced a non-bioengineered/non-genetically modified version of its nut-free Nadanut nut analogs. The line extension is based on stabilized wheat germ and expeller-pressed oil with natural antioxidants and naturally-sourced colors and flavors.

“This new product offering was developed to satisfy the growing demand in North America, but also for our potential E.U., Asian and Middle East customers,” said Chris Jansen, president of Atchison-based Inclusion Technologies.

The non-bioengineered version of Nadanut will be available in a variety of sizes and shapes and in nut varieties such as almond, pecan, walnut, hazelnut and peanut. The company will showcase the new Nadanut line at Natural Products Expo West/Engredea March 6-8 in Anaheim, Calif.

“There are 2 billion lbs of nuts used as ingredients in the industrial market place,” said Dennis Reid, vice-president of marketing and development for Inclusion Technologies. “Nadanut products give the industry a way to still enjoy the look, taste and texture of real nuts, without the high cost or issues related to nut allergens. These products are 100% nut-free and less than half the cost of nuts.”

Let's not act like this was an original idea. All they did was buy up wheat nuts and use their process.
