BAGSVAERD, DENMARK — Novozymes plans to form three divisions: Food & Beverages, Household Care & Technical Industries, and Agriculture & Bioenergy, the Bagsvaerd-based company said Feb. 8. Andrew Fordyce, formerly executive vice-president, business operations, will become executive vice-president, Food & Beverages.

“With this change in structure we aim to deliver more significant innovation to our customers faster and create the agility to act swiftly on market needs,” said Peder Holk Nielsen, president and chief executive officer of Novozymes, which provides enzymes and microbiological technologies.

One central research, innovation and supply organization will support all three divisions. Total costs associated with the reorganization will be DKK60 million to DKK70 million ($9.1 million to $10.6 million).
