New Puratos innovation center to serve New England

Puratos Group plans to open a new innovation center - like this one in Brussels - in Norwood on Sept. 7.
 

CHERRY HILL, N.J. — Puratos Group plans to open its Puratos Boston and Innovation Center in Norwood, Mass., on Sept. 7. The company has invested $1.5 million to build the 5,300-square-foot facility, which will bring management, sales, customer service and technical teams that focus on New England closer to their customers and consumers.

The innovation center will provide Puratos’ commercial and artisan customers with access to industry equipment, expertise and training as well as research into international trends.

“Helping our customers be even more successful with their businesses is behind our continuing expansion here in the United States,” said Daniel Malcorps, chief executive officer of Puratos Group, based in Brussels. “With this new innovation center, we want to inspire our customers with better ideas based on consumer expectations and support them in the development of their products and help them solve technical challenges.”

Puratos offers a range of products and application expertise for artisans, industry, retailers and food service customers in the bakery, patisserie and chocolate sectors.
