WASHINGTON — The total amount of edible liquid product from shell eggs broken during February was 208,729,000 lbs, down 6% from January and down 3% from February 2012, the U.S. Department of Agriculture said in its latest Egg Products report.

February production of edible liquid whole eggs was 128,279,000 lbs, down 5% from January and down 1% from February 2012; liquid whites were 53,478,000 lbs, down 6% from January and down 7% from February 2012; liquid yolks were 26,972,000 lbs, down 9% from January and down 8% from February 2012.

Shell eggs broken in February were 161,212,000 dozen, down 7% from January and down 3% from February 2012.
