May dry milk production up from year ago
WASHINGTON — May production of both nonfat dry milk and skim milk powders were up from a year ago, the U.S. Department of Agriculture said in its latest Dairy Products report. MORE

WASHINGTON — The U.S. Department of Agriculture in its June Crop Production report forecast 2008 U.S. winter wheat production at 1,817,364,000 bus, up 39,832,000 bus, or 2%, from 1,777,532,000 bus forecast in May and up 20% from 1,515,989,000 bus last year. MORE

U.S.D.A. raises 2009 wheat carryover 4 million bus
WASHINGTON — The U.S. Department of Agriculture projected U.S. wheat carryover on June 1, 2009, at 487 million bus, up 4 million bus from 483 million bus projected in May, and up 92% from the upwardly revised 2008 carryover of 254 million bus. MORE
