ATCHISON, KAS. — Don Tracy has been named vice-president of finance and chief financial officer at MGP Ingredients, Inc., effective Nov. 6. He succeeds David Harbert, a partner of Tatum, L.L.C., who filled the role on an interim basis after Robert Zonneveld stepped down to pursue other interests in April.

Mr. Tracy has many years of senior level financial and executive management experience, including the past three years as c.f.o. at Emery Oleochemicals. Earlier, he worked for Briggs Industries; Tenaris Corp.; National City Corp.; A.T. Kearney, Inc.; Ernst & Young Consulting; Procter & Gamble and Deloitte & Touche.

He received a bachelor’s degree in accounting at the University of Detroit and a master’s degree in business administration with specializations in business economics and finance at the University of Chicago.
