French Meadow extends gluten-free bread availability

MINNEAPOLIS — French Meadow Bakery has launched a new line of gluten-free bread available in three varieties: Gluten-Free Multi-Grain Bread, Gluten-Free Sandwich Bread and Gluten-Free Cinnamon Raisin Bread.

The Gluten-Free Multi-Grain bread is made with a blend of amaranth, quinoa, millet, sorghum and teff, and it is sweetened with organic honey. The bread contains 8 grams of whole grains, 4 grams of protein and 3 grams of fiber per slice.

Gluten-Free Sandwich Bread is a soft, all-natural product that contains 2 grams of protein and 1 gram of fiber per slice.

Gluten-Free Cinnamon Raisin Bread is filled with organic raisins and cinnamon and has 2 grams of protein and 2 grams of fiber per slice.

The bread is available in specialty food and mainstream grocers nationwide at a suggested retail price of $4.99 to $5.49.
