CHATTANOOGA, TENN. — McKee Foods Corp. said it will close a bakery in Chattanooga and transfer production to plants in Collegedale, Tenn., and Gentry, Ark. The facility, which makes Little Debbie donuts, was acquired from Turnbull Bakery in 2004 for $7.5 million.

The bakery only had been operating one line and one shift while employing about 30 people, and has been put up for sale, McKee said.
