U.S. Mills to offer diabetes answers on web site

NEEDHAM, MASS. — U.S. Mills, L.L.C., maker of Uncle Sam cereal, has partnered with the Joslin Diabetes Center to provide answers to frequently asked questions about diabetes on its web site, www.usmillsllc.com. "People with diabetes often are faced with conflicting advice, information and misinformation about diabetes, especially with respect to nutrition choices," said Charles Verde, chief executive officer of U.S. Mills. "We are proud to join with this well-known authority to deliver valuable, accurate nutrition information to our consumers and enhance their experience at our web site." Founded in 1898, Joslin is an independent non-profit institution affiliated with the Harvard Medical School.
