Kraft expanding in Springfield, Mo.

SPRINGFIELD, MO. — Kraft Foods Inc. announced it is expanding its Springfield facility, including investing $9 million in capital and adding two manufacturing lines for Kraft Natural Cheese and Kraft Macaroni and Cheese products. The expansion will result in an additional 50 jobs at the facility, which already employs more than 950 workers, Kraft said.
In addition to Kraft Natural Cheese and Kraft Macaroni and Cheese, the Springfield facility produces Philadelphia Cream Cheese and Kraft Singles.
