CAMDEN, N.J. — The Campbell Soup Co. is recalling 15 million lbs of SpaghettiOs with Meatballs after a cooker at its facility in Paris, Texas, malfunctioned, possibly leaving the meat under-processed. The problem was discovered through a routine warehouse inspection and subsequent investigation.

Campbell said the recall affects three varieties of the pasta product: SpaghettiOs with Meatballs, SpaghettiOs A to Z with Meatballs, and SpaghettiOs Fun Shapes with Meatballs (Cars).

While no reports of illnesses have been linked to the product, Campbell said it is recalling certain lots of the product manufactured since December 2008 “out of an abundance of caution.”
