Joy Cone Co. to expand Pennsylvania plant

HERMITAGE, PA. — The Joy Cone Co., a manufacturer of ice cream cones, plans to expand its facility in Hermitage by 190,000 square feet to increase production capacity. The cost of the project is estimated to be $21 million and will create 50 new jobs.

The Joy Cone Co. is a privately-owned company that has been in business for 85 years. In addition to Hermitage, the company has a production facility in Flagstaff, Ariz.
