Gavilon completes acquisition of Millard Grain

OMAHA — Gavilon, L.L.C. has completed the acquisition of Millard Grain located in Avalon, Wis., through its wholly owned subsidiary DeBruce Grain, Inc. Gavilon said it will continue buying and storing grain from area producers and fulfill all existing forward purchase and sales contracts.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

“We are pleased to be expanding our presence in southern Wisconsin and looking forward to establishing and building relationships with area producers,” said Marv Hachmeister, vice-president at Gavilon Grain. “Being part of an extensive marketing and distribution network allows us to provide customers enhanced services and better value.”
