Rosina Food Products acquires pasta business

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Rosina Food Products, Inc., a manufacturer of frozen foods, has acquired the assets of the San Rallo Pasta business from Mitsui Foods, Inc., Norwood, N.J. San Rallo Pasta is a purveyor of Italian pastas and specialties to the food service industry. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

“We are excited about this transaction,” said Russell Corigliano, president and chief executive officer of Rosina Food Products. “This acquisition is consistent with the company’s strategic plan for growth.”

Rosina Food Products operates two facilities, a frozen meatball, sausage and pizza topping plant on Cheektowaga, N.Y., and a frozen pasta, eggplant and entree facility in West Seneca, N.Y.
