CHICAGO — Justin Lambeth has been named chief marketing officer of The Quaker Oats Co. In his new role he will spearhead Quaker’s food businesses with responsibilities for brand insights, strategic communications, core innovation, shopper marketing and digital activation with a focus on growing Quaker’s business in the United States.

Mr. Lambeth most recently was vice-president of marketing at Frito Lay North America, a division of PepsiCo, Inc., where he held a variety of leadership roles across brand marketing, innovation and portfolio activation.

Prior to joining PepsiCo he was a marketing director at H.J. Heinz Co., and earlier he worked in brand management at Nabisco.

“We are fortunate to have the internal expertise and talent to fill this key role with another outstanding leader from PepsiCo,” Quaker said.

He received a bachelor’s degree in economics from The Penn State University and a master’s degree in business administration from Wake Forest University’s Babcock Graduate School of Management.

In the coming weeks, Mr. Lambeth will relocate to Chicago, and he will be based at Quaker’s headquarters.
