SOLON, OHIO — Nestle USA is moving its Hot Pockets and Lean Pockets business team from Englewood, Colo., to Solon. The move will align the two brands with other business units that are headquartered in Solon, such as Stouffer’s, Lean Cuisine, Buitoni, Toll House, Libby’s and Carnation.

“We believe the opportunities for shared learning and continued progress — both for our employees and our business — are greater with all our teams working together,” said Frank Higgins, president and chief executive officer of Nestle Prepared Foods.

The company said some positions will be eliminated as activities are consolidated within Nestle Prepared Foods.

Acquired by Nestle from Chef America in 2002, the Hot Pockets and Lean Pockets brands are now available in over 80 varieties in the United States. The products also are sold in Canada, Mexico and Brazil.
