Stan Shaffer to v.p. of baking at King's Hawaiian

TORRANCE, CALIF. — Stan Shaffer has been promoted to vice-president of baking at King’s Hawaiian. Mr. Shaffer has spent the past six years as vice-president of manufacturing at the company.

Prior to joining King’s Hawaiian, he was general manager of Galasso’s Bakery Inc. in Mira Loma, Calif., from 2003 to 2005. Earlier he was director of operations at Goglanians Bakery in Santa Ana, Calif., from 2001 to 2003, and director of operations at Gold Coast Baking Co. in Santa Ana from 1999 to 2001. He spent the first 18 years of his career with Fresh Start Bakeries, Inc. in Brea, Calif., including as vice-president of U.S. manufacturing.
