Oils, shortening receive EcoSocial certification

Ciranda, Hudson, Wis., has added EcoSocial certified Palmfruit oils and shortening to its range of cocoa products. The Palmfruit oils are produced in a sustainable organic system that is preserving the environment and bringing economic and social benefits to communities near the mouth of the Amazon river in Brazil.
AgroPalma, Sao Paulo, Brazil, produces Ciranda’s Palmfruit palm products. IBD Brazil certifies them.
