The new 100-calorie, 10-inch flour tortilla batchpak may help manufacturers meet consumer demand for weight-control and portion-control solutions, according to Allied Blending & Ingredients, Keokuk, Iowa.
The tortillas may work in such products as tacos, quesadillas, sandwich wraps and portable snacks. Label opportunities include excellent source of fiber, good source of calcium, low fat and no trans fat.
