A rosemary ingredients line, including Inolens and AquaRox, has received organic certification from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s National Organic Program, according to Vitiva, Markovci, Slovenia. Austria Bio Garantie, an N.O.P. certifying body, certified the ingredients.

"By providing U.S.D.A. N.O.P. organic rosemary extract formulations, Vitiva is primarily targeting American organic foods manufacturers who are looking for natural solutions for extending shelf life and protecting specialty organic products," said Ohad Cohen, chief executive officer of Vitiva.

Inolens and AquaRox, both rosemary extract formulations, may be provided in liquid and powder forms. They are soluble in oil and in water. Inolens may be used in such products as bakery items, ready meals, meat, fish, confectionery, dietary supplements and cosmetic applications. AquaRox may be applied mainly to cosmetic and pet food applications.
