The DeFrancisci Machine Co., Melbourne, Fla., is now the exclusive owner of all the intellectual property and the only source for original DEMACO parts and equipment. The company offers such food processing equipment as pasta presses, snack extruders, mixers, dough sheet formers and high-speed ravioli systems.

In 1991 the DeFrancisci family, the original owners, sold DEMACO. Seventeen years later Joseph and Leonard DeFrancisci purchased the intellectual property and all the drawings of DEMACO.

"The reception was overwhelming," said Joe DeFrancisci, chairman of DEMACO. "Almost immediately the company began receiving interest in new machinery, and the company is now preparing shipments of its first new pasta extruders in several years."
