CHICAGO — PureCircle has launched a natural flavor modifier designed to work in combination with the company’s Reb A and SG-95 stevia-based high-intensity sweeteners as well as in combination with sugar or high-fructose corn syrup. The flavor modifier, which has the trade name NSF-02, is designed to enhance flavor sweetness and taste of foods and beverages.

The technology for the flavor modifier is patented and proprietary to PureCircle Ltd., which plans to market the technology globally.

“PureCircle continues to demonstrate that we are first and foremost an innovation company, with a proven track record of successfully discovering, manufacturing and marketing new technologies, such as Reb A and SG-95,” said Magomet Malsagov, chief executive officer of PureCircle Ltd. “NSF-02 is the first natural flavor that is break-through in its ability to help stevia, across various applications, to naturally reduce calories in the food and beverage industry.”
