Depanner. A mechanical device for the removal of baked bread loaves (q.v.) or buns (q.v.) from their pans (q.v.) either by means of suction cups (q.v.) that lift the product from the pan, or by inverting the pans forcefully against adjustable bars and thereby jar their contents from them. Depanners normally are provided with delidders (q.v.) to accommodate covered Pullman pans (q.v.).
