Reciprocating Slicer

Reciprocating Slicer. A bread slicer (q.v.) in which straight slicing blades are mounted on two frames at intervals that yield the desired slice (q.v.) thickness, with the blades moving rapidly up and down in opposite directions. Slicing is done by gently pushing the bread loaf (q.v.) through the oscillating blades.
