Stollen

Stollen. A product made from a fermented (q.v.) rich sweet dough (q.v.) that contains additionally a high level of dried or candied fruits (q.v.) and nuts (q.v.), such as raisins (q.v.), citrons (q.v.), almonds (q.v.), poppy seed (q.v.), etc., and is baked on a baking sheet (q.v.), and usually iced (q.v.) and garnished with powdered sugar (q.v.).
