Twist Bread. A loaf (q.v.) of bread (q.v.) that is made up of two moulded half-weight dough (q.v.) cylinders that have been twisted together either manually or by a mechanical twisting device into a full loaf so as to produce a finer crumb texture (q.v.). Also, a loaf produced by curling an elongated dough cylinder into a compact coiled loaf form.
