Wire-Cut Cookie. Cookies (q.v.) made by forcing their dough (q.v.) through die (q.v.) apertures at the bottom of the dough hopper of the wirecut machine in which a frame holding a taut wire moves across the bottom face of the dies and cuts off the emerging dough into discs that are then deposited either on a conveyor (q.v.) belt or directly on the baking surface.
