Tortilla Suave from Caravan Ingredients acts as a dough conditioner to extend the shelf life of tortillas. With its anti-stick technology, it combats sticking situations associated with the production of high-quality tortillas. Used at 1 to 2%, based on flour, this conditioner can be added to existing tortilla formulations. It improves softness and increases rollability. It contains no hydrogenated fats and can be used in products labeled “zero grams trans fat.”
