Functional wheat starches are offered by Manildra Group USA to improve the stability of baked foods, dry mixes, batters and breadings, fruit fillings, confectionery products and puddings and fillings. The GemStar line includes unmodified, specially designed (modified) and pregelatinized forms. Viscosities range from low to high, depending on the gelling, emulsification and binding properties needed. Some are also available as certified organic.
