Sanitary improvements to frozen dough line from Food Process Automation
April 11, 2011
Food Process Automation (FPA) announces sanitary improvements to its frozen dough equipment. FPA machines now feature stainless steel construction for cleanable non-rusting surfaces and the elimination of nooks, crevices and harborages that can be sanitation nightmares. Motors and gear reducers are washdown rated and electrics are NEMA 4-rated, making the machine easy to washdown, if and when necessary. Use of standoffs, access points and toolless removable guards speed the process of allergen cleaning. Belt support panels and rollers lift out to support ease of sanitation and maintenance and provide an attractive ergonomic machine. New GMA sanitation standards have been applied to this machine.
