Consumer demand for specialized heat flavors prompted Kalsec to extend its specialty chili pepper extract line to include ghost pepper, cayenne and pasilla. The peppers are extracted in the US using proprietary expeller-press technology for consumer-friendly labeling. The line already offers ancho, guajillo, habanero, jalapeño, poblano and Szechuan pepper extracts.
