◾ US Patent No. 7,682,642 (March 23, 2010), J. Simon, et al., assigned to Cerestar Holding B.V., La Sas Van Gent, The Netherlands.

This process for sterilizing a resistant starch composition includes dispersing the resistant starch in oil; heating the starch/oil dispersion obtained to a target temperature of 100 to 175°C, preferably about 150°C; and cooling the starch/oil dispersion.
