A food product alignment device for a conveyor includes upright pins that act in pairs to align respective food products that approach on a moving conveyor. A misaligned item will slightly pivot on the moving conveyor when contacting the first pin to be evenly positioned between the two pins. After the food products are aligned, the pins retract to a position beneath the conveyor to allow the products to continue on the conveyor.
