Easy-open divider manifold
March 1, 2012
A dough distribution manifold that divides dough into several dough streams for parallel processing features hand-operated connectors attached to the top wall of its perimeter. When the top wall is opened, the inside surfaces of the manifold that are contacted by dough are exposed to expedite inspection, maintenance and cleaning. Lifting handles also may straddle a pressure gauge mounted to the top of the manifold so it can be moved to a remote location for inspection and cleaning. An operator can change the rate at which dough is delivered by mechanically adjusting valves positioned downstream of each opening. The bottom is also removable from the perimeter wall. This provides access from both above and below the distribution chamber, allowing easy inspection and cleaning access.
