While the Journal did not detail the size of either the new or old baking location, the article said Jadon will be adding 50 employees over time at the new location.
Jadon’s products are targeted at customers seeking gluten-free, dairy-free or diabetic-friendly snacks. Its products include gluten-free cookie varieties – oatmeal, almond spice, chocolate chip, and hemp; dairy-free apple bites; and diabetic-friendly and gluten-free butterscotch pecan cookies.
While sales currently are limited to food service/institutional and retail customers, Ms. Lee told the Journal she hopes to begin supplying supermarkets shortly.
