On Monday, Feb. 25, The American Bakers Association (ABA) will meet with the Centers for Disease control and Prevention in Atlanta to discuss key topics including obesity, sodium, trans fat, folic acid fortification and food safety.

Directly following that session, ABA's Food Technical Regulatory Affairs Committee (FTRAC) will hold its winter meeting on Feb. 25-26. The committee meets and reports on a variety of key issues in the baking industry, including food labeling, nutrition, food safety and food defense, among others.
