CAMDEN, N.J. — Dave Biegger has been promoted to senior vice-president of global supply chain for the Campbell Soup Co. The promotion will take effect on April 1. Mr. Biegger will replace David White, who is retiring from the company.

He joined Campbell in 2005 as vice-president of strategic planning for the company’s global supply chain. In 2007, he was promoted to vice-president of North America supply chain. He will maintain responsibility of the North America supply chain in his new role, according to the company.

“Dave will play a critical role in our key strategies by creating a demand-driven supply chain, delivering consumer-focused innovation and operations excellence while driving cost and margin management,” said Denise Morrison, president and chief executive officer of the company.

Before joining Campbell in 2005, Mr. Biegger spent nearly 24 years with Procter & Gamble.
