NEW YORK — The got milk? brand is expanding its licensing program with three manufacturing partners to launch cookies, cereal and other products that pair nicely with a tall glass of milk.
Granola and granola bars, cookies, biscuits, wafers, ready-to-eat cereals and cereal bars made by licensee Got Snacks?, New York, are set to debut at major retailers across the United States early next year. Got Snacks? markets and distributes baked packaged foods, including chocolate chip cookies, crème-filled cookies and snack foods.
Additionally, got milk? hot cocoa spoons manufactured by Melville Candy Co., Weymouth, Mass., are landing at Wal-Mart stores this month. The wooden, chocolate-coated spoons create hot cocoa when stirred in a mug of warmed milk. Melville Candy specializes in lollipops and honey and chocolate spoons for tea and coffee.
Also launching next year are got milk? drinking straws and milk infusers from manufacturer Diversified Flavor, a subsidiary of Diversified Consumer Goods, Bloomington, Minn. In varieties such as cookies and cream, cotton candy and strawberry, the straws contain edible dissolving beads that add flavor to milk. The infusers include powders, drops and syrups in such flavors as cinnamon roll, pancakes and syrup, and apple turnover. A line of caffeinated milk infusers feature iced latte, iced mocha, iced caramel macchiato and iced coffee varieties.
