Krispy Kreme announces fruit Danish addition

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, Inc. is launching new Danishes to the lineup. The Danishes are available in two varieties: apple and raspberry. The individually wrapped Danish treats are at grocery stores available nationwide, but not in Krispy Kreme donut shops.

J&J Snacks Foods introduces Oreo churros

PENNSAUKEN, N.J. — J&J Snack Foods Corp. is partnering with Mondel?z International to release Oreo churros. The churros feature a crispy coating with Oreo cookie pieces throughout the churro. Oreo churros will be sold nationwide in the food service channel.

Krusteaz adds gluten-free mixes

SEATTLE — Continental Mills, Inc. is rolling out a line of gluten-free products under the Krusteaz brand. The products include a buttermilk pancake mix, blueberry muffin mix, honey cornbread and muffin mix, and a double chocolate brownie mix. The gluten-free mixes are available at grocery stores nationwide.

Level Life introduces snacks for diabetes control

BOULDER, COLO. — Level Life is announcing a new line of indulgent snacks with less sugar. The new snack varieties include peanut butter cups and peanut turtle bars. The peanut butter cups include 9 grams of fiber, 5 grams of protein and 3 grams of sugar. Peanut turtle bars feature 7 grams of fiber, 6 grams of protein and 8 grams of sugar. Level Life products are available nationwide at Kroger stores for a suggested retail price of $5.99 per 4-count box. 

Weight Watchers launches cereals

MINNEAPOLIS — Weight Watchers has partnered with MOM Brands to offer five new cereal selections. The additions include oat clusters with almonds, whole grain honey nut toasted oats, frosted shredded wheat with protein, oat clusters with cherries and almonds, and chocolate frosted shredded wheat. All cereal varieties contain 210 calories or less. Weight Watchers cereal offerings are available at Kroger, Safeway, Meijer, and other retailers nationwide in January 2015.

Boulder Canyon Foods debuts Thanksgiving-inspired potato chip line

PHOENIX — Boulder Canyon Foods is innovating with Thanksgiving Feast, which is a new line of kettle-cooked potato chips. The featured chip flavors include turkey and gravy, stuffing, cranberry and pumpkin pie. Boulder Canyon Foods potato chips are packaged as separate bags within a 10-oz bag for a suggested retail price of $4.99.
