CUDAHY, WIS. — Angelic Bakehouse has introduced Flatzza, a thin crust product that may be baked, grilled, broiled or seared. The product contains no bioengineered ingredients as well as no artificial sweeteners, fats or preservatives. It only uses honey sourced in the United States.
“Research clearly shows that consumers want products that not only taste great and are nutritionally superior but also convenient,” said Jenny Marino, chief executive officer. “We are proud to say that our new Flatzza crust delivers on all three fronts. All you have to do is top, bake and enjoy. It’s that simple.”
Each Flatzza pack contains two 7-oz crusts that feature such ingredients as whole sprouted grains of red wheat berries, quinoa, oat groats, rye berries, barley, amaranth and millet.
Angelic Bakehouse moved into a new facility in Cudahy in December 2013 and earlier this month opened the 22,000-square-foot facility to the public. The new facility is expected to help Angelic Bakehouse meet growing demand for its products and enable the introduction of additional product lines.
