ROBESONIA, PA. — Shawn Moye has been promoted to vice-president of sales, Americas, at Reading Bakery Systems. In his new role, Mr. Moye will be responsible for managing new equipment sales throughout North and South America. Since joining Reading Bakery Systems in 1999, he has held positions of increasing responsibility, including director of sales, North America, and most recently executive director of sales.

Prior to joining Reading Bakery Systems, Mr. Moye worked with Frito-Lay, Nabisco and Werner Pfleiderer.  After Reading Bakery Systems and Thomas L. Green merged in 2001, Mr. Moye worked closely with customers from both sides of the snack business, and has been involved in every production system that Reading Bakery Systems has supplied within North America since then. He has developed relationships and sales internationally, as well assisted with other parts of the business as Reading Bakery Systems continues to grow.

Mr. Moye also is involved with several industry trade associations and committees, including serving as the current vice-chairman of the Allied Committee of the Biscuit and Cracker Manufacturer’s Association. He is a member of the American Society of Baking, the Baker’s Dozen and participates at the International Bakery Industry Exposition, Interpack, Cookie and Snack Baker’s Association and SNAXPO.
