LONDON — Leatherhead Food Research hopes to continue to build relationships with the food industry and in pursuit of that goal appointed Alice Cadman head of business development and marketing.  Ms. Cadman’s previous experience at United Biscuits, London, will serve to further the London-based research firm’s goals.

Leatherhead Food Research offers the food and beverage industry scientific and technical services, regulatory consultancy, and consumer and market insights.

“The food industry is facing big challenges from all directions, so the expertise at Leatherhead is exactly what the food industry needs,” Ms. Cadman said. “I am excited about the ambitious growth strategy at Leatherhead and would encourage any member to see for themselves the vast range of services and resources that Leatherhead can make available to them. I would also very much like to hear from any member on their thoughts and needs.”

Ms. Cadman’s commercial and marketing roles at United Biscuits as well as her spearheading the company’s health and nutrition program, will help the firm meet its members’ needs and expand the use of its resources and capabilities.
