BATTLE CREEK, MICH. — The Kellogg Co. has opened a “Recharge Bar” in New York where customers can stop in and grab a bowl of milk and cereal. The “Recharge Bar,” or “pop-up store,” will be open for a limited time, June 24-27 from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily, as well as from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on June 26.

Kellogg’s will be serving a selection of its cereals at the Recharge Bar located at 1701 Broadway Ave. in New York, including Frosted Mini-Wheats, Raisin Bran, Special K Protein, Special K Original, Frosted Flakes, Rice Krispies and All Bran-Bran Buds. Customers may then add extra protein to the cereal in the form of skim milk, 2% milk, Milk Bar cereal milk, chocolate milk and yogurt. Almonds, cinnamon, raisins and fruit also will be available as additional toppings.

Emmy-award winning physician Travis Stork and celebrity chef Christina Tosi will help open the doors of the Recharge Bar to the public on June 24. Music group The Roots will be present on June 25, while Emmy award winning choreographer Derek Hough will reveal and teach “The Cereal and Milk” dance move to media and families in attendance on June 26. The final day of festivities will include an appearance by several iconic Kellogg’s characters, including Cornelius “Corny” Rooster and Tony the Tiger.
